2010 Baseball Registration Deadline is February 15th!!
by SBSA posted 02/05/2010

SBSA has extended the normal deadline for registration this year to February 15th.  After the 15th, all registrations will be CLOSED and you are not guaranteed a spot on a team this year.  The baseball draft will occur the following week so please get registered today!!!

Most softball registrations will remain open until March 1st.

To register for baseball or softball, choose the Register Online tab from the left side menu and navigate to the appropriate registration program based on the age of your player.  Please follow the instructions to register your player or players online.  If you would prefer to fill out a paper registration and send it in via mail, please locate the 2010 registration forms on the Documents tab of the web site.

Here are a few items of interest that we would like to bring to your attention.

1.  Fees have been raised to $125 for all C, B, and A league players.  These programs have been running in the red for several years and we felt it fiscally responsible to set fees at an appropriate level to cover the umpire, field maintenance, and uniform costs.  Please note that the $125 fee is well in line with fees that other local organizations are charging for their upper level teams.

2. SBSA will be offering a new family discount this year.  The registration fee for the first and second child in the family is per the published rate, however, a discount of $40 will be subtracted for the 3rd AND 4th child in each family.  If by chance you are registering more than four kids, please contact Andy Fredette to register your family as our web site has some limitations regarding discounts for families of this size.

3. We have moved the registration end date back to February 15th this year and eliminated the late fee period.  However, if your player is not registered by February 15th, he or she is not guaranteed a spot on a team for the upcoming season.

4. Please check out our new FAQ pages that have been updated with quite a bit of new information.  If you have any questions about registration or the upcoming season, please check the FAQ pages first.  However, if you still have questions, please contact our Registration Coordinator Andy Fredette or our Web Site Coordinator Doug Backus .

Thank you for your interest in SBSA baseball and softball programs!
